Women’s Discipleship

2024 spring Bible study

Monday or Wednesday Evenings Beginning February 26

You’re invited! Please join us for the Philippians: To Live is Christ Bible Study.

A 13-lesson study by Jonathan Nelson and Dennis E. Johnson.

Writing with warmth and frankness, Paul lays down important theological truths in Philippians and uses them as the basis for transforming our lives and relationships. Ultimately, he shows how we can move from selfishness and self-confidence to self-giving, contentment, and confidence in Christ.

This Reformed Expository Bible Study is designed for personal and group use. Each lesson connects to the rest of the Bible and holds to the same standards as the Reformed Expository Commentary series: a high view of Scripture; a Christ-centered focus; a Reformed theological basis; and an emphasis on personal application and prayer.

There will be no video teaching with this series. Please feel free to attend either or move between groups as your schedule allows.

FAQ

What if my study doesn’t arrive in time for the first discussion? Let Lesley Jones or Laurie Bertrand know and we will create a PDF version of the lesson and send it to you. Be sure to register so that you can receive emails and updates.

How long will each meeting last? We’ve scheduled an hour and a half for each discussion.

What if I can’t make it every time? That’s okay! Come as often as you can and don’t worry if you miss a day, you can jump back in easily.

Can I join even if I’ve missed the first meeting? Absolutely! It is never too late to join in no matter how many times we’ve met. Our goal is that in addition to learning, we enjoy the time with each other. You are always welcome.
